Darkroom Day 1

I have printed each of these highlighted images in order for me to see them bigger, to know what I’m working with, and to eventually pick final images from. There were a lot of images for me to print, which allowed me to practice and hopefully I have improved my darkroom skills dramatically ready for printing my finals.

My main priority when printing these images was to just get them all done, in a good viewing state (not blurry and a reasonable print), for me to eventually pick finals from. I wasn’t worried about perfecting my prints at this point, as I know that I will have to re-print my favourites for my final images. I appreciate that a few of these images are exposed for under 10 seconds, I know that this will decrease the quality of them but as they are only test prints it will be okay. When it comes to printing my finals, I will make sure that the prints exposed for over 10 seconds giving me maximum quality. I may have to stop the aperture down a bit more in order for them to have more exposure time.
