Seventh, and final Shoot
As you can see by the lighting in these first contact sheets, I had great difficulty getting it to the point I wanted it to be. To begin with, the background was very grey, as was the model quite dark. This puzzled me as I had set the studio and camera up to the same setting I have been using previously, therefore the lighting should be the same? Anyway, it wasn’t so I just had to keep adjusting the studio lighting and aperture until I got to the point I was happy with. This point is the last contact sheet where the model is evenly lit, and the background is light enough, almost white. This particular model has very long hair, again making it difficult for myself as I had to take the camera even further back than normal. I don’t like that you can see the models arms in the framing, hopefully I can crop these out later when editing. I then asked these two lovely models to come in to the studio straight after, luckily it was nice and quick because I already had the lighting and framing from the camera how I wanted it. I’m really happy with these final sets of images. The lighting looks good, and the framing is good enough for me to crop into later when making my final images the same size.
